In our weekly Fantasy Football Matchups series, Dan Croop will analyze all of the NFL games on the slate that week and rate the fantasy players in each matchup. Look for this series Friday of every week, with the Thursday night game getting its own analysis every Wednesday.

Bears:  Chicago's offense steamrolled a terrible Colts defense in week one, and good news for fantasy owners of Bears: they face the Packers equally terrible defense in week two! Jay Cutler, Matt Forte, Michael Bush, and Brandon Marshall all proved to be worthy plays on Sunday, but there was one slight surprise. Bears second round draft pick Alshon Jeffery looked very capable of filling Chicago's vacant number two receiver role, catching three balls for 80 yards and a touchdown. Jeffery will most likely be a popular pick-up this week and could prove to be worth your number three wide receiver spot with some more consistent production. Considering the Packers failed to shut down really any of the Niners options both through the air and on the ground, I'd recommend all Bears as a go for Thursday night, but one disclaimer. Bush’s value this season looks like it’ll be based almost solely on touchdowns, which makes him a boom or bust type of guy every week. Use him at your own risk.

Packers: I'll be honest with you. It's a very rare day when I'll tell you to bench anyone involved in the Packers passing game. Keep an eye on Greg Jennings, though, as he's come down with a groin injury that has his status in doubt for the week two contest. With that in mind, James Jones (4 rec., 81 yds., 1 TD) becomes fantasy relevant again, even with the emergence of Randall Cobb. Jones is a decent number three wide receiver or flex option in week two. Speaking of flex options, that's all that Cedric Benson is right now, and that's even questionable. Granted, he faced a very tough San Francisco run defense in week one that held him to 18 yards on nine carries, but he's also facing a Chicago run defense that only allowed 63 rushing yards to the Colts on Sunday. Start your Packers receivers, bench Benson if you have someone else worthy of a flex spot, and watch for updates on Jennings.
